NUTRITIONIST AND DIETETICS TECHNICIAN III
Duties and Responsibilities;
(i) Providing Nutrition Services in Health facilities
(ii) Implementing Nutrition programmes
(iii) Conducting Nutrition assessments
(iv) Collecting and compiling Nutrition data
(v) Providing Nutrition Health Education and demonstrations
(vi) Monitoring the preparation of therapeutic feeds
(vii) Implementing outpatient and inpatient supplementary and therapeutic
feeding programmes
(viii) Promoting maternal, infant and young children feeding
programmes
(ix) Providing Micronutrient supplementation
(x) Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements for Appointment
(i) Must be a Kenyan citizen.
(ii) A mean grade of KCSE C Plain
(iii)Must possess a Diploma in any of the following disciplines; Community
Nutrition, Clinical Nutrition or Nutrition and Dietetics from a recognized
Institution
(iv) Must be registered by the Council of the Institute of Nutritionists and
Dieticians (CIND)
(v) Evidence of proficiency and knowledge in computer applications.
(vi)Applicants are required to get clearance from the following institutions to
meet the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya:
