Role Overview:
We are seeking a committed and adaptable Medical Officer to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate should be flexible with work timings, eager to learn, and ready to undergo a mandatory 2-week voluntary shadowing and orientation period prior to official employment. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain exposure across various hospital departments while delivering safe, high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive clinical care to patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Participate actively in ward rounds, patient reviews, admissions, and discharges.
• Support emergency response and provide on-call coverage when required. Assist in emergency surgical cases when required
• Collaborate with consultants, nurses, and allied health professionals to ensure holistic patient management.
• Maintain accurate medical records, treatment notes, and documentation in line with hospital protocols.
• Adhere to ethical and professional medical practice while upholding patient confidentiality.
• Engage in continuous professional development and adopt a willingness to learn new medical and surgical practices.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) or equivalent.
• Registered and licensed with the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC).
• Internship completion in an accredited hospital.
• Valid Indemnity Insurance Cover
• Valid ACLS & BLS certification mandatory
