QUALIFICATIONS,REQUIREMENTS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Basic Salary Scale: Ksh. 26,900.00 - 35,380.00 (CPSB 11)
House Allowance: Ksh. 4,500 p.m
Commuter Allowance: Ksh. 4,000 p.m.
Other Allowances as Per the SRC Circulars
Terms of Service: Permanent & Pensionable

Requirements for appointment:-
Diploma in any of the following disciplines: Kenya Registered Community Health Nursing, Kenya Registered Nursing, Kenya Registered midwifery, or Kenya Registered Nursing/Mental Health and Psychiatry from a recognized institution;
Possess a current valid practicing certificate;
Membership to a relevant professional body; and
Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.

Duties and responsibilities:-
Assess, plan, implement nursing interventions and evaluate patient’s outcomes;
Provide appropriate healthcare service including Integrated Management of Childhood; Illness (IMCI), immunization, PMTCT, antenatal care and delivery;
Provide health education and counseling to patients/clients and community on identified health needs;
Refer patients and clients appropriately;
Facilitate patient’s admission and initiating discharge plans;
Maintain records on patients/clients’ health condition and care;
Ensure a tidy and safe clinical environment; and
Collect, compile and submit data as scheduled.
