QUALIFICATIONS,REQUIREMENTS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Basic Salary Scale: Ksh. 32,700.00-42,690.00 (CPSB 10)
House Allowance: Ksh. 7,500 p.m
Commuter Allowance: KShs. 4,000 p.m.
Other Allowances as Per the SRC Circulars
Terms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable

Requirements for appointment:-
Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery from a recognized institution
Certificate of Registration from the Clinical Officers’ Council
Valid practising licence from the Clinical Officers’ Council

Duties and responsibilities:-
Take patient history, examine, diagnose, and interpret laboratory and imaging results
Treat common ailments at outpatient and inpatient health facilities
Implement community health care activities in collaboration with other health workers
Guide and counsel patients, clients, and staff on health-related issues
Sensitize patients and clients on preventive and promotive health measures
Refer patients and clients to appropriate health facilities for specialized care
Provide clinical outreach and school health services
Carry out minor surgical procedures within the scope of training and skills
Collect and compile clinical data for use in patient care and health planning
Assess, prepare, and present medicolegal reports as required
