Entry Requirements:
An officer at this level shall report to Senior Deputy Chief Conservator of Forests (Strategy, Partnership & Resource Mobilization)

Duties and responsibilities;
1. Develop, implement and review resource mobilization policies, strategies and programs
2. Develop a frame work for stakeholders’ collaborations
3. Review and analyze information and prepare reports and documents on activities related to funding partners and fund raising
4. Develop agenda on resource mobilization and partnerships
5. Prepare reports to donors and relevant agencies
6. Participate in drafting and revision of agreements with donors
7. Drive mapping of potential and emerging sources of funding and assessing their current usage and potential for the future
8. Developing proposals for funding and corresponding contracts;
9. Reviewing financial structures and risks of the PPP Projects;
10. Monitoring the Implementation of funding programs and maintaining their impact;
11. Developing policies on identification of lines of credit;
12. Reviewing proposals from potential strategic partners;
13. developing programs and proposals for resource mobilization;
14. Reviewing pre -contract PPP activities;
15. Responsible for resource mobilization for the Department
16. Promote Public values and principles
17. Mentoring and coaching

Additional Information:
Person Specification
1. Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Finance & Economics, International Development Studies, Business Administration/Management International management Entrepreneurship, Monitoring and Evaluation or equivalent from a recognized institution
2. Master’s degree in a relevant field from a recognized institution
3. At least ten (10) years’ work experience three (3) years of which must have been in a Supervisory position.
4. Management Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution
5. Professional qualifications;
6. Member of a relevant professional body
7. Proficiency in computer applications
8. Fulfil Chapter Six of the Constitution
