QUALIFICATIONS,REQUIREMENTS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Basic Salary Scale: Ksh. 39,700.00 - 52,960.00 (CPSB 09)
House Allowance: Ksh. 12,800 p.m
Commuter Allowance: Ksh. 5,000 p.m.
Other Allowances as Per the SRC Circulars
Terms of Service: Permanent & Pensionable

Requirements for Appointment
Degree in Environmental Science or its equivalent from a recognized University.

Duties and Responsibilities
Supervise implementation of environmental projects and ensure timely delivery of service;
Implement and evaluate departments environmental strategic plans, programs and activities at the sub -county;
Represent the department at the sub -county forums;
Ensure public participation in Government service delivery;
Handle waste management and sanitation at the sub-county;
Carry out environmental and social impact assessment for projects and supervise proposed environmental mitigation measures
Plan, monitor and evaluate performance of staff against the set target
