QUALIFICATIONS,REQUIREMENTS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Basic Salary Scale: Ksh. 39,700.00 - 52,960.00(CPSB 09)
House Allowance: Ksh. 12,800 p.m
Commuter Allowance: Ksh. 5,000 p.m.
Other Allowances as Per the SRC Circulars
Terms of Service: Permanent & Pensionable

Requirements for appointment:-
Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent and relevant qualification from a recognized institution;
Possess a current valid practicing certificate;
Membership of a relevant professional body

Duties and responsibilities:-
Design electrical/electronic engineering services in County buildings and construction works;
Repair and maintenance of electrical/electronic installations in waterworks, offices, workshops, conference complexes and other County facilities;
Preparation of electrical engineering drawings, plans, and specifications.
Supervision of electrical installations and maintenance works.
Ensuring compliance with relevant engineering codes and standards.
Participating in feasibility studies and cost estimation.
Maintenance of public electrical installations including street lighting.
Inspection of electrical works and certification.
Plan, monitor and evaluate performance of staff against the set targets.
