QUALIFICATIONS,REQUIREMENTS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Basic Salary Scale: Ksh.58,360.00 - 90,200.00 (CPSB 06)
House Allowance: Ksh. 25,500.00 pm
Commuter Allowance: Ksh. 8,000.00 pm
Other Allowances as Per the SRC Circulars
Terms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable

Requirements for appointment:-
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration (Marketing option), Commerce, Economics, or any other relevant and equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
Knowledge and relevant work experience of not less than three (5) years
Demonstrated experience in marketing strategy, branding, promotion, or public relations, preferably in a public or development context
Proficiency in marketing tools, digital media, market research, and campaign management

Duties and responsibilities:-
Develop and implement county marketing strategies, plans, and programs
Promote the county's image, investment opportunities, products, and services
Coordinate marketing research and analyze trends to guide policy and promotional initiatives
Manage county participation in trade fairs, exhibitions, expos, and other marketing events
Develop and disseminate promotional materials, content, and publications
Collaborate with public and private sector stakeholders to enhance county visibility and investment attractiveness
Oversee branding and public relations activities for the county
Supervise the development and management of the county's marketing platforms, including websites and digital channels
Coordinate tourism and investment marketing campaigns if applicable
Prepare periodic reports on marketing activities and performance
Plan, monitor and evaluate performance of staff against the set target
