Verona Huruma Non-WDT Sacco Limited started in 1994 as a self-help group that was one of its kind in the Archdiocese of Nairobi, under the guardianship of then Diocesan Development office of the Archdiocese of Nairobi.

Its main objective is to improve the living standard of people living and working in the Kariobangi Parish and its environs through pooling resources.

It has tremendously grown to a Sacco with a membership of over 20,000 from all walks of life and enlarged its wings beyond Nairobi.
