AFEX Kenya Ltd began life as “African Expeditions”, providing visitors to East Africa with integrated logistics, food supply and catering, and transport services for safari holidays and expeditions. On safari AFEX created a comfortable − even luxurious – “home-away-from-home” for our guests, providing high-quality accommodation and catering services in remote parts of Kenya’s national parks and game reserves. Our expeditionary and ‘can do’ spirit remains from those early days, and continues to guide AFEX’s approach to projects.
From these adventurous beginnings as expedition operators, AFEX has grown and diversified into a project-oriented company in response to the increasing global demand for African metal, minerals, and energy, coupled with Africa’s explosive infrastructural growth, all of which has increased the demand for safe and reliable remote site facilities and associated support services.
