(a) Duties and Responsibilities
• The officer at this level may be deployed to help oversee the Supply Chain
Management function in a Department or in a Supply Chain Management
unit within a Department.
• Processing of agenda for the tender committees and
• Assisting in implementation of decisions thereof.

(b) Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, an officer must have:-
i a Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following; - Procurement and Supplies
Management, Commerce (Supplies Management), Business
Administration (Supplies Management) from a recognized institution;
ii Poses a minimum experience a comparable and relevant position for a
minimum period of three (3) years;
iii Be a member of Kenya Institute of Supplies Management (KISM).
