QUALIFICATIONS,REQUIREMENTS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Basic Salary Scale: Ksh. 41,420.00 - 57,230.00 (CPSB 09)
House Allowance: Ksh. 12,800 p.m
Commuter Allowance: Ksh. 5,000 p.m.
Other Allowances as Per the SRC Circulars
Terms of Service: Permanent & Pensionable

Requirements for Appointment:-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/ Information Communication Technology/ Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Business Information Technology
Certificate in Computer applications
Significant experience in the field or a related one will be an added advantage
Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results

Duties and Responsibilities:-
Process data for use by the Department.
Provide technical support to the ICT users.
Check computers for fraud and viruses.
Identify and clean any virus traced.
Manage the County Website and Recruitment portal in liaison with the ICT Department.
Carry out systems analysis, design and program specifications in liaison with users of the specific sectors within the Board
Ensure that the computer network is well maintained and managed.
Managing systems security, performing backup and restore procedures
Maintain utmost confidentiality and security of passwords.
Implement county ICT strategy, standards and guidelines;
Oversee Installation and configuration of Local Area Network and Wide Area Network;
Ensure that the system documentation and operations manuals are available and maintained.
Ensure implementation of maintenance schedules for the computers.
Plan, monitor and evaluate performance of staff against the set targets.
