About

Shaddai Christian Academy (SCA) is a fulfilled dream whose founder conceptualised in 2004 and came to fruition in January 2008. The academy started in January 2008 and enrolled its first Nursery class. SCA has a strong Christian foundation and keen to quality education and performance.
SCA is located in Makueni County, Eastern Province, Kathonzweni District, in Mavindini Division. It is 28 Km from Makueni County head quarters, Wote town and 15 Km east of the Wote-Kathonzweni-Makindu tarmac main road. The school lies in a Semi-arid region. The local community’s main economic activity is peasant mixed farming.
SCA is the pioneer Christian Academy in Mavindini Division and is unique in many ways. Other than promoting its own academic standards, it seeks to enhance the capacities of other ECD schools in the division. The school seeks to corroborate with the MOE and other like minded organizations to achieve this objective.
The curriculum offered at the school is in line with the current MOE requirements. The school is now implementing the revised Early Childhood Development and Education and primary syllabus at all current levels.
