The St. Teresa hospital began in the year 2000 in kikuyu. It originally began as an outpatient clinic but due to the great support from the community members it evolved to become a larger facility and in the year 2008 it became St. Teresa Maternity and Nursing hospital- Kikuyu. The facility is located along Kikuyu-Thogoto road about 1km from Kikuyu shopping centre. It offers comprehensive medical services including outpatient and inpatient services.
