Stima DT Savings and Credit Cooperative Society Limited (Stima Sacco) was established in 1974 to serve employees of the then East African Power & Lighting Company. There have been several developments since then, such as Stima Sacco upgrading to a Deposit Taking Sacco, hence the name Stima DT Sacco, and open membership to all Kenyans among other key improvements.
Stima DT Savings and Credit Cooperative Society Limited (Stima DT Sacco) is a leading, country-wide, fast growing, and licensed DTS (Deposit Taking Sacco) with an Asset Base of Kshs. 42bn, Deposits of over Kshs. 32bn, Loan Book of over 34bn and membership of over 141,000 derived from the energy, utilities, education, services, diaspora, individuals, groups/ Chamas, small and micro enterprises (SMEs) among other sectors.
